We're excited to celebrate our 20th Year in 2026 with these events:
February - Launch of 20th Year Logo
Margaret Rizzuto and Mike Camera worked with the Leadership Team to create a logo celebrating our 20th Year.
May - Retreat Day for Leaders: Strategic Planning Our Future
Art in the Atrium First U leaders are gathering on May 30 to jumpstart the process of strategic planning for the future. The retreat goals are to understand our core purpose and beliefs, our aspiration, and our capacity. The retreat will lead to high-level action planning to achieve our vision.
September - Community Organization Show with a Social/Environmental Justice Theme
A 20th Year exhibition with a social justice and environmental theme “Urban Pond Procession" is planned for September 10 to October 9, 2026. The show features Holly Ewald and other artists. Holly is founder of the Urban Pond Procession (UPP Arts), which celebrates and promotes stewardship of Providence ponds.

October - 20th Year Big Party and Member Show
Art in the Atrium First U party plans are under way and it's going to be a great celebration! The party is tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 23. The Member Show, called “The Creative Spirit” celebrates more than 200 member artists since our beginning in 2006. The exhibit dates are October 15 to December 4, 2026.​​​
